Then in 1999, Rolex furnished the no date Submariner with the Caliber 3130 automatic movement, thus the 14060M was born where "M" stands for "modified."Rolex changed to Superluminova at the end of the 14060 production, and therefore, only a few of the 14060 Submariners feature tritium lime, and all 14060M feature the newer Superluminova. In order to achieve this COSC certification, Rolex changed the movement from the caliber 3000 to the caliber 3130.
From 2007 to 2011 the 14060M Submariner was produced with an engraved inner rehaut. The 14060M is discontinued in 2010 or 2011 (G series and random serial numbers, introduced somewhere in 2010).
